CreatorKit Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

CreatorKit (“we”, “us”) collects the email address and display name you provide at sign-up. We do not store on our servers the prompts you submit to AI features or the content the AI generates — those stay locally on your device for your own history. The only information we keep for service quality is essential call metadata (timestamp, error code, subscription status), not the underlying content.

2. How We Use Information

Your information is used solely to deliver the service, improve user experience, and send necessary service notifications. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

3. AI Data Processing

AI features are powered by third-party AI services. When you use these features, your prompt and preference settings are forwarded to the AI provider for processing. We do not send personally identifiable information (such as your real name or email) to AI providers. All AI-generated content is labeled as AI-generated.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers using industry-standard encrypted transport (TLS/SSL) and secure storage practices. We routinely review our security measures to keep your data safe.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all related data at any time from in-app settings. After account deletion, we permanently remove all your data from our servers within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics to understand which features are most valuable. You can opt out of data tracking from in-app settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage
• OpenAI / Anthropic — AI content generation
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• PostHog — usage analytics

8. Children’s Privacy

CreatorKit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you within the app. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
